I find this bit even more interesting, a YouTube user named ‘belowtheradar’ is posting others’ copyrighted material — but with brand advertising for Gawker Media properties inserted. For example, a clip about the Lite-Brite-challenged city of Boston recorded from a local NBC affiliate has a pre-roll ad for Gizmodo, one of Gawker Media’s blogs.
